Wombaroo Granivore Rearing Mix is a hand-rearing and supplementary food for grain-eating birds — parrots, cockatoos, finches, doves, pigeons and quail. It makes up to a smooth consistency that can be spoon-fed or crop-fed, which matters when a chick is small enough that lumps block a crop needle. Alongside 22% protein it carries omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, plus a Protexin soluble probiotic, a Natuzyme multi-enzyme and an Actigen prebiotic — the additions aimed at chicks that are young, sick or malnourished rather than simply growing.
