Agspand makes FeedChar for livestock and PetChar for cats and dogs — mineral-charcoal supplements fed in small daily amounts as a toxin binder and digestive aid. Both are Australian made in Tasmania.
Charcoal works by adsorption, so it binds whatever is in the gut at the time. That includes medication and some minerals, which is why it is normally fed away from worming treatments and mineral supplements rather than alongside them.
