Billy Button makes ready-to-use seed bowls: a moulded bowl of seed you set down as it is, with nothing to decant, scoop or measure. It suits people who feed garden birds regularly and would rather not keep a sack of seed in the shed.

- Black Sunflower Seed Bowl - single-ingredient black sunflower, in medium. Oil rich, and the pick of the larger parrots and cockatoos.
Feeding garden birds well
Feed intermittently rather than constantly. A permanently stocked station concentrates birds, encourages disease and can make them dependent, and it favours introduced species as readily as natives. Site the bowl where cats cannot use it as an ambush point, keep it dry, and tip out anything that has been rained on.
