Boomer Ball makes a single, very durable hard plastic ball in four sizes. It is a push-and-chase toy rather than a fetch toy — the ball is too hard and too large to be picked up and carried, which is exactly the point for dogs that destroy soft toys.
Choosing a size — pick a ball the dog cannot get its jaws around, otherwise it becomes a chew toy and will be punctured. As a rough guide the 4in suits small breeds, 6in small to medium, 8in medium to large, and 10in large and giant breeds. If in doubt size up.
The surface scuffs and scratches with use; that is cosmetic and does not affect the shell. Boomer Balls are not designed to be chewed, and any ball that has been split should be taken away.
