Equinade is an Australian-made grooming range built around Showsilk: colour shampoos, protein conditioners and hair polish for coats, manes and tails, plus hoof dressings, leather and tack care, and stable cleaning products. PeekAPaw carries the small show-day bottles and the bulk 5L and 20L containers, so a stable can buy the same product at working volumes.
The Showsilk wash routine runs shampoo, then conditioner, then hair polish if you want a high sheen. Two label details are easy to miss. Glo White Shampoo must go onto a wet coat — the instructions say not to use it on a dry coat, mane or tail. And Mighty Bright is a leave-in concentrate that builds with each use; if a purple tinge appears, shampoo and rinse it out rather than persisting. The Showsilk shampoos are pH balanced for a range of show animals, not horses alone, so the same bottle covers dogs, cattle and poultry.
For hooves, Hoof Grease is a solid dressing and Hoof Lube is the brush-on version, which stays workable in cooler weather when a solid dressing goes hard. Black Jack Enamel is show finish rather than conditioning, and comes off with mineral turpentine. On tack, leather takes the soap, then oil, then dressing sequence; Synthetic Tack Cleaner is the one to use on synthetic saddles, vinyl and plastic gear instead.
