Hi Form is an Australian manufacturer of natural herbal and nutritional supplements for horses, made in Victoria and sold through vets, stockfeed stores and performance yards. The range is built around whole-herb extracts, mineral tissue salts and the brand's own BioEquus pre, pro and postbiotic blend, which appears inside several of the daily formulas rather than only as a standalone product.
The range splits into two halves. The daily formulas balance a forage diet: CompletaVite for horses spelling or in light to medium work, Oxydane for horses in serious work, BreedPlus for mares and young stock, and GrowthFix for growing horses and high-oxalate country. The targeted formulas address one problem each — gut, joints, airways, nerves, metabolism or condition.
Choosing between them — pick one daily formula, not two: they overlap heavily, and stacking Oxydane on top of CompletaVite doubles up the same vitamins and minerals. Add a targeted formula alongside it only for the specific issue you are managing. Where two products cover the same ground, the difference is strength and price per day: BioEquus maintains a normal gut while BioEquus Gold is built for ulcer-prone horses; Breathe suits dusty conditions and winter coughs while RespiraFix is aimed at diagnosed chronic respiratory disease; and EquiGesic Plus is a low-rate concentrated curcumin formula where ProflamAid Plus is a broader joint, muscle and tissue-repair blend.
On pack sizes — several products come in a 50g or 100g sachet. Because most of these formulas are fed at 2.5g to 20g a day, a sachet is a genuine two to six week trial rather than a token sample, and it is the cheapest way to find out whether a horse will eat something before you buy a bucket. Note that Hi Form supplements support management; they are not veterinary medicines, and a horse with a fever, colic signs or a sudden change in behaviour needs a vet rather than a supplement.
