International Animal Health Products (IAHP) is an Australian-owned manufacturer based in NSW, making health and nutrition products for horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry. Several of its brands have been fixtures in Australian feed sheds for decades — Livamol as a coat conditioner, ProN8ure as a multi-strain probiotic, MecWorma and Worma as horse wormers, and BioWorma as a biological worm control that works on the pasture rather than the animal.
Choosing between the ranges — if you are after coat and condition, start with Livamol and step up to Livamol Oil or the Feed Optimiser Pellets only if the ration needs energy or balancing as well. For gut health, ProN8ure comes in four formats that are not interchangeable at the same rate: Powder for feed, Soluble for drinker lines, Liquid for either, and Paste as a single dose after a drench or a float trip. For worms, the chemical wormers (MecWorma, Worma) treat the horse; Livamol with BioWorma reduces the larvae in the paddock and does not replace a drench.
Several products in this range are registered veterinary chemicals with withholding periods and Export Slaughter Intervals printed on the label. Read the label before use, and check the withholding period against your sale dates before treating stock you intend to sell.
