KONG Wubba

The Wubba is a tug and toss toy: a squeaker ball and a tennis ball sewn into a nylon head with fabric tails hanging off it. The tails are the point - they make it easy to grab and swing, they flap unpredictably when thrown, and they give a dog something to carry that is not a hard object.

The line covers the standard Wubba, the Wubba Weaves with rope, the floating Wet Wubba for water, Wubba Finz, the high-visibility ballistic versions, the Zoo and Friends characters and a smaller Puppy Wubba.

Be clear about what it is for. A Wubba is an interactive toy for tug and fetch with a person on the other end. The nylon is tough for its class, but it is fabric, and a dog left alone with one long enough will strip the tails. That is not a fault in the toy; it is the wrong use of it. Dogs that chew rather than fetch want rubber instead.

Pick the size by mouth, not by enthusiasm, and take it away once the seams start to open.
