Love'em is an Australian-made dog treat brand, and PeekAPaw carries four of its formats: single-ingredient air dried liver, soft training treats, grain free jerky, and baked biscuits.
Start with what the treat is for. The air dried livers — beef in 90g, 200g and 500g, lamb in 200g — are one ingredient and nothing else, which makes them the pick if you are avoiding grain or working through an elimination diet. They are also rich: both run around 60% protein, but the lamb liver is 25% fat against the beef liver's 13%, so beef is the easier choice for a dog watching its weight. The soft training treats — Chicken, Kangaroo, Liver, and Liver Puppy Rewards with added calcium — are the opposite proposition: wheat-based, soft enough for a dog to swallow in a second, and small enough to use right through a session. They are not grain free. The Grain Free Beef with Tomato and Lamb with Rosemary jerky sit in between, chewier and grain free, with added omega 3 and 6.
One thing worth knowing before you buy the Beef Liver Joint Care Cookie: it carries 18mg of glucosamine and 18mg of chondroitin per cookie. That is a treat-level inclusion, not a joint supplement dose, so read it as a nice extra rather than a replacement for one. The Liver Brownie is the other baked option, a biscuit topped with air-dried liver sprinkles.
