Shop Meaty Treaty freeze-dried treats at PeekAPaw — single-protein treats for both dogs and cats, in 50g-100g packs, across almost the whole range.
Whole cuts, not shaped treats
Most of this range is a recognisable piece of meat rather than a formed biscuit: chicken necks, whole sardines, chicken wing tips, beef and lamb hearts, beef tendon. That matters practically, because the shape decides how the treat gets used. Chicken necks and wing tips are gnawed, and the abrasion is what works against plaque; sardines and hearts break into pieces small enough for training rewards; tendon takes the longest and suits a dog that needs occupying rather than rewarding. Freeze-dried pieces are still raw, so wash hands afterwards and reseal the bag properly — they pull moisture back out of the air and go chewy once they do.
Novel proteins for elimination diets
Alongside beef, chicken and salmon, Meaty Treaty stocks wild boar, crocodile, venison and kangaroo — proteins most dogs and cats have never eaten. If a dog reacts to chicken or beef, one of these is often the easiest way to keep treating them through an elimination diet. Because each treat is single-ingredient, it is also easier to pin down what triggered a reaction. Worth keeping one genuinely unused protein in reserve rather than working through all four at once.
Toppers for fussy eaters
Two freeze-dried meal toppers — beef and chicken — crumble over a bowl of dry food to lift the aroma for a cat or dog that has gone off their usual meal, without changing the diet itself.
