Rawr is a New Zealand wet cat food sold in small 60g portions, seven to a pack. The small can size suits cats that lose interest in a part-used tin and households feeding a single cat, where a standard 85g or 170g can is more than one sitting.
Choosing a flavour — chicken is the mildest and the usual starting point; kangaroo is a novel protein worth trying for cats that react to poultry or beef; ocean fish is the most strongly scented and often the one that gets a fussy cat eating, though fish is best rotated rather than fed exclusively.
Wet food should be served at room temperature and any uneaten portion removed within an hour.
