Rescue Remedy Pet is the alcohol-free version of the original Bach flower remedy, formulated for animals. It is given as drops on food, in water or straight onto the gums during short-lived stressful events — storms, fireworks, vet visits, car travel, a move.
What to expect — this is a calming aid, not a sedative or a medicine, and the evidence for flower remedies is anecdotal rather than clinical. It is best used for situational stress you can see coming. Ongoing anxiety, noise phobia that escalates year on year, or any change in behaviour that comes on suddenly warrants a vet consultation instead.
