The Maine Coon is one of the largest domesticated cat breeds, and the reason it has its own kitten bag is timing. This breed keeps growing for around 15 months, far longer than an ordinary cat, so feeding a standard kitten food and switching at twelve months cuts growth support short at exactly the wrong moment. Maine Coon Kitten combines adapted energy and protein with balanced calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D to support bone and joint development across that long build, then hands over to Maine Coon Adult at 15 months.

Both dry foods use a king-size, cube-shaped kibble — large and thick on purpose, because a Maine Coon's big square jaw picks food up differently, and a chunky kibble encourages chewing instead of inhaling. The adult formula is enriched with taurine, EPA and DHA to help maintain healthy cardiac function, and formulated to help support the bones and joints carrying that much cat. The Gravy pouches are thin slices in gravy with a concentrated energy level, so meal size stays sensible for a large breed; they are made for mixed feeding with the dry food and come in packs of 12 and 48. On bag size, 2kg is the sensible trial or single-cat size, 4kg the usual repeat buy, and 10kg suits multi-cat homes with proper airtight storage.
