Seaflex is an Australian marine-based supplement aimed at three things that tend to slip together in an older dog — stiff joints, a dull coat and general flatness. It comes in two formats with the same intent.
Chews or powder
- Joint, Skin & Vitality Chews, 45 per pack — the easy option. Fixed dose, and most dogs take them as a treat.
- Powder Meal Topper 180g — for dogs that spit out chews, or where you want the dose scaled to body weight. Mixes into wet food; on dry kibble add a splash of water so it sticks.
What to expect
Joint nutrition is cumulative. Give either format consistently for six to eight weeks before deciding whether it is helping. A dog that is visibly lame on one leg has a specific problem and needs to be examined, not supplemented. See more in Dog Treats.
