Snugglesafe is a cordless heat pad: a sealed disc containing a thermal gel that is heated in a microwave and then holds warmth for up to ten hours under a bed or blanket. No cord means nothing for a puppy or rabbit to chew and no risk of an electrical fault in a hutch.
What it suits — puppies and kittens separated from a litter, elderly or arthritic animals, small pets in outdoor hutches, and post-surgery recovery. It cannot be regulated: it starts hot and cools steadily, so it always goes under a cover and the animal must be able to move off it.
Heating times differ by microwave wattage — follow the chart supplied with the pad rather than guessing, as overheating damages the gel.
