Tonka's dog toys borrow the truck brand's tyre-tread look and, more usefully, its rubber. The toys are all for dogs and fall into three groups: treat feeders you can leave with a dog, plain tread tyres for chewing and chasing, and the lighter Tuff poly-filled toys made for playing together.
Feeders and tread tyres, for solo chewing
The Axel Tread Feeder (17.5cm), the Diamond Plate Feeder Bone (20cm) and the Tri Stack Tread Feeder (10cm and 12.5cm) all take kibble or treats inside, and their grooves hold a smear of paste that can be frozen to stretch a session out. The Tri Stack and the Seismic Tread Tyre (12.5cm) weigh around 400 grams each, which is heavier than most rubber toys and is rather the point — they sit solidly in the mouth instead of skittering away. The Diamond Plate Bone uses raised checker-plate nodules rather than a smooth surface, giving teeth and gums something to work against. The Mighty Chomp Tyre pairs a small 10cm tyre with a knotted rope for dogs that want to chew and tug at once. All of it rinses clean under a tap.
Tuff poly-filled, for playing together
The Hex Ring (23cm), the Infinity Twist Tug (33cm) and the Twist Bone (35cm) are longer and lighter, with poly filling and reflective detailing. Because they are filled rather than solid rubber, they are made for supervised tug and fetch rather than for leaving with a determined chewer — choose a feeder or a tread tyre for that. Match the length to how you play: the 23cm ring suits a close two-handed tug, while the 35cm bone puts more distance between a big dog's teeth and your hands.
