Yeowww! catnip cat toys

Picking a shape
Shape matters more than colour. The long toys — Cigar, Fish and Banana, all around 7" (18cm) — sit between the front paws so the back feet can rake them, which is the play most people are hoping to see. Small toys like the Hearrrt Attacks get carried and dropped at your feet instead. My Cats Balls roll, so they suit cats that chase.
If your cat ignores catnip
Response to catnip is inherited, and a proportion of cats simply do not react — kittens usually will not until they are a few months old. The crinkle-lined toys still work for them: the Butterfly and Dreidel Krinkle both make a sound when swatted, so there is something to play with either way.
A note on the jugs and displays
