How to choose

Chewies, at 88% crude protein, are dried veal tendon and the hardest thing in the range, which suits a determined chewer and not a puppy or a dog with worn teeth. Veal Shanks and Spare Ribs are bone-in, so their ash figures sit far higher than the rest of the range and they last longest. Sheep Ears and Venison Ears are cartilage rather than bone, so they give a long chew without anything hard to crack. Lamb Puffs and Venison Puffs are dried lung, light and airy, and are the easiest for small dogs, cats and older pets to manage. Venison is worth a look if your pet reacts to beef or chicken.
One thing to know before ordering: the Free Range Naturals and freeze dried packs are labelled for cats as well as dogs, while the Air Dried Dog Treats line is for dogs only. All of them are treats, not complete diets, so they sit alongside a balanced meal rather than replacing it.
