A small pill splitter with a covered blade and a V-shaped holder that centres the tablet. It gives a cleaner, more even cut than a kitchen knife, which matters when your vet has prescribed half or a quarter of a tablet. Very small, round or coated tablets can still crumble — ask your vet or pharmacist whether a tablet is safe to split before cutting it.
Part of the Apex range. For getting the tablet into your pet afterwards, see the Sound Vet Pill Popper.
Key points
- Guarded blade — Blade sits inside the lid.
- V-shaped holder — Centres the tablet for an even split.
- Pocket size — Easy to keep with your pet's medication.
Care
Wipe clean after use. Keep out of reach of children — the blade is sharp.
