Glucose 5% (dextrose 5%) is an intravenous fluid that supplies water with a small amount of glucose. It is not a replacement fluid for dehydration on its own. This product is stocked for veterinarians and trained handlers working under veterinary direction, not for general use.
Available in 500mL and 1L bags. Pair with a Baxter IV giving set. Part of the Baxter range.

Intravenous fluids must only be given by, or under the direction of, a veterinarian. The right fluid, rate and volume depend on the animal and its condition, and the wrong choice can do real harm. Check the bag is intact and the solution clear before use; single use — discard any unused portion. Store as directed on the pack.
