Osmitrol is mannitol for intravenous infusion, an osmotic diuretic used by veterinarians for specific conditions. It is a specialist infusion, not a general fluid. This product is stocked for veterinarians and trained handlers working under veterinary direction, not for general use.
Available in 10% 1L and 20% 500mL bags. Mannitol can crystallise when cold — check the solution is clear before use. Pair with a Baxter IV giving set. Part of the Baxter range.
