Betadine antiseptic liquid contains povidone-iodine 10%, a broad-spectrum antiseptic used to clean minor wounds and prepare skin. It is a human-use product (TGA listed) that is also widely used in animal first aid; follow your vet's advice on dilution for animals. It stains fur, skin and fabric, and should not be used on animals with a known iodine sensitivity, on deep or puncture wounds without veterinary advice, or near the eyes.
