Think Hydrate Buffered Electrolyte Liquid is the daily-use electrolyte in Brinicombe's Think range — a 5L liquid for horses that are sweating regularly through work, travel or hot weather. Buffered formulations are gentler on the stomach than a plain salt mix, which matters when you are feeding it on consecutive days.
Electrolytes only work with water. Feeding salts to a horse that will not drink concentrates the problem rather than fixing it. Make sure clean water is available and that the horse is actually drinking before and after you dose — particularly away from home, where fussy drinkers are common. If a horse is genuinely dehydrated, that is a vet call, not a feed-bin one.
For a single dose on the day of an event, the Think Hydrate paste syringe is the format made for it.
Feeding rates and the full ingredient list are printed on the container. Check the ingredients against your discipline's prohibited substances list if you compete.
