Tensoplast is an elastic adhesive bandage: it stretches as it goes on and sticks to itself and the layers beneath, so it holds a dressing firmly. It is commonly used as the top layer of limb and tail bandages. Because it is adhesive and elastic, it is easy to apply too tightly.

How to use
Apply over padding without pulling to full stretch. Bandaging technique matters as much as the product: too tight over a limb can restrict circulation. If you are unsure how to apply it to an animal, ask your vet to show you first.
