The Catit Senses 2.0 Food Digger is a puzzle feeder for cats that eat their dry food too fast. Kibble or treats go into five upright tubes — three short narrow ones and two long wide ones — and the cat has to paw the food out a piece at a time, which slows the meal down and gives a bored indoor cat something to do with the energy. Because the tubes come in two widths you can start easy and make it harder as your cat works it out. The sloped base holds a little loose kibble at the front, so a cat new to puzzle feeders gets an obvious reward before having to solve anything. The design plays on a cat's instinct to paw out smaller portions of food, which stimulates activity and reduces binge eating. Insert kibble or treats into the tubes for your cat to smell and paw out. The tubes have rounded ends, making them easy to use and clean. There are 3 short narrow tubes and 2 long wide tubes so you can change between difficulty levels.

The sloped surface can be used to add extra kibble at the front. The cat will first eat the kibble that is easiest to access, after which it has to work a little harder for its food.
Easy to clean
The Digger is easy to disassemble and clean. Catit recommends hand-washing each part with natural soap, free of chemicals or abrasive solutions, and rinsing thoroughly.
