The Catit PIXI Cat Water Fountain is a 2.5 litre circulating cat water fountain, and circulation is the whole reason to buy one: cats drink noticeably more from moving water than from a still bowl, and low water intake is a common factor in feline urinary problems. The PIXI gives three drinking positions — a top stream, a flowing surface and the reservoir — so a cat that dislikes one will usually use another. A triple action filter sits in the centre, softening tap water and removing debris; LED alerts tell you when the water is low, and the pump shuts down rather than running dry. PeekAPaw stocks it in light pink, light blue and sage green. Replacement Catit PIXI fountain filters are sold separately and should be changed roughly monthly.
