Attapulgite absorbs moisture quickly and locks in odour at the source, but it doesn't replace regular cleaning — remove waste promptly and refresh the litter routinely. It supports house-training rather than replacing it. Supervise your dog the first few times; if your dog eats the litter or shows any irritation, stop use and contact your vet.
