Cen's multivitamin and mineral meal topper for dogs, formulated by a PhD nutritionist and sprinkled over the existing meal rather than fed on its own. Cen describe it as a balanced multivitamin and mineral pellet intended to cover nutritional gaps, supporting bone and hoof integrity, muscle, skin and coat, with live probiotics, prebiotics and marine-sourced calcium and phosphorus.
A topper earns its place on a home-prepared, raw or single-protein diet where the vitamin and mineral side is hard to get right. On a complete commercial food that is already balanced to AAFCO or a comparable standard, adding a broad supplement is usually unnecessary and, with fat-soluble vitamins and minerals, not automatically harmless — more is not better. If your dog is on a complete food and something is wrong, work out what before adding to the bowl.
Supplied in a 500g tub. See also the freeze dried lamb version, or browse the full Cen range.
