Chipsi Snake is the substrate in the Chipsi range made specifically for snake enclosures. The chip size is larger than small animal bedding, which is the point: it holds a burrow shape rather than collapsing, and it is big enough that a snake is unlikely to swallow a piece with its prey.
It spot cleans well. Lift out the soiled area and top up rather than stripping the whole enclosure, and change it out completely on your usual schedule.
Feed in a separate container if you can, or on a tile within the enclosure - no loose substrate is risk-free at feeding time.
