Certified organic whole wheat — straight grain, no additives, used as a scratch feed for poultry or as an energy supplement for livestock.
It is a single ingredient, so it does not balance anything on its own. Wheat is high in energy and starch and low in calcium; hens fed largely on it lay poorly and ruminants fed too much of it too fast can go acidotic. Introduce gradually and keep it to a share of the ration.
