Dog Pro Plus Puppy is the growth recipe in the Dog Pro range, formulated for puppies through their first year. The only pack size is 20kg, which tells you who it is really for: breeders raising a litter, working properties running several young dogs, and owners of large breeds that will get through a bulk bag before it goes stale.
If you have one small or medium puppy, 20kg is more than you will use in a sensible window. Kibble does not spoil quickly but it does lose palatability after weeks in an opened bag, and a puppy going off its food mid-growth is a problem worth avoiding. Large and giant breed puppies also have specific growth requirements — check the feeding rate with your vet rather than leaving food down all day.
Feeding
Split the daily amount across three meals for young puppies, dropping to two by around six months. Follow the feeding table on the pack and adjust as the puppy grows. Fresh water at all times.
