A traditional pine tar and beeswax hoof dressing, supplied in a pot with its own brush so it lives in the grooming kit rather than leaking through it. It is brushed over the whole foot — sole, frog, bulbs, wall and coronet band — and works best on a clean, recently trimmed hoof. On a wet-season foot that is already waterlogged, a moisture barrier such as a hoof gel is the better first step.
Benefits
- Whole-foot dressing — sole, frog, bulbs, wall and coronet band, not just the wall
- Pine tar and beeswax base — the traditional combination, with lanolin and coconut oil
- Pot and brush together — applicator supplied, nothing extra to buy
Ingredients
Pine tar, beeswax, lanolin, coconut oil, tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil and gum turpentine.
How to use
Pick out and clean the foot, then brush liberally over the sole, frog, bulbs, hoof wall and coronet band. Apply regularly, ideally after trimming.
