Zolvix Plus is an oral drench for sheep. Products in this class are normally kept in reserve for quarantine drenching and for mobs where the older chemical groups have stopped working — using them as the routine drench wastes the one thing they are good for.
Supplied as a 1L bottle.
Key points
- Combination oral drench — check the label for the active list and dose rate
- Reserve use — most useful as a quarantine or salvage drench
- Confirm with egg counts — drench, then recount 10-14 days later
Safety
Withholding periods for meat, milk and wool and export slaughter intervals apply. Read the label before treating any animal destined for sale, and rotate chemical groups between seasons rather than relying on one active — resistance is the main reason a drench stops working.
