The replacement impeller for the Exo Terra Turtle Filter FX-200 external canister. It is the moving part of the pump head, and a worn impeller is the usual explanation for an FX-200 that has gone noisy or lost flow after a few years of service. Fitting one is a far cheaper fix than replacing the canister.
It fits the FX-200 (PT3630) only — Exo Terra makes a separate impeller for the FX-350, so check which canister you have before ordering. It has nothing in common with the impeller parts for the submersible Repti Clear F250 or F350 filters. Foam for the canister is listed under Turtle Filter foam, and the rest of the range is in our Exo Terra collection.
Features
- Direct replacement — drops into the FX-200 pump head without modification.
- Restores flow — a worn impeller shows up as weak return through the spray bar long before the filter stops.
- FX-200 specific — the FX-350 uses its own impeller; the two are not interchangeable.
- Never run the filter dry — canister filters are cooled by the water they move, and air-locking one is a fast way to ruin the impeller and motor.
