A pressed block with Rumensin for dry cows through the pre-calving period, where monensin is used to support rumen efficiency and as an aid in reducing the risk of ketosis after calving.
Supplied as a single 15kg block.
The dry period is where the block has to be in place before the problem appears - starting it after calving is too late for what it is meant to do. At 15kg this is the lightest block in the range.
Contains an ionophore. Rumensin (monensin) and Bovatec (lasalocid) are registered for ruminants only. They are fatal to horses and dogs at levels that are safe for cattle and sheep, and there is no antidote. Keep this product away from horses, ponies, donkeys and working dogs, do not let them access the feed area or spillage, and do not exceed the label rate for the species it is registered for.
This is a solid 15kg block. Freight on that weight is unavoidable, so pickup or combining it with the rest of a paddock order is the sensible way to buy it.
