Omega Balancer is a dry omega-3 supplement for horses with no reliable access to green pasture — which is where the natural omega-3 in a horse's diet normally comes from. It is most often used for a dull or itchy coat and for horses with airway disease, and it suits all ages from foals to seniors as well as breeding stock.
Available in 900g, 2.8kg and 8kg. Unlike a liquid oil it does not need refrigeration and stores with the rest of the feed.
What is in it
Stabilised oilseed meals, algal meal and powdered fish oil, plus flavouring and antioxidants. It supplies all three forms of omega-3 — DHA and EPA directly from the marine components, and ALA from the oilseed — rather than relying on linseed alone.

Feeding
General health: 30–70g daily for horses, 15–35g for ponies. Reproduction: 120g daily. Coat changes take weeks rather than days, so give it a full season before judging it.
