Farmers Mate 4 Pets Beef Air Dried Bites are small pieces of air dried beef in a 100g resealable pack. Air drying takes the moisture out slowly at low heat, so the pieces stay firm and chewy rather than hard, and the bag keeps well at room temperature once opened.
The size is the point: bites this small are practical for training, where you need to reward twenty times in a session without feeding a meal's worth of treats. They also suit dogs on an elimination or limited-ingredient diet, since a single-protein treat is one of the few things you can hand out without breaking the trial.
Feeding
Feed as a treat, not a meal. Treats should stay under about ten percent of your dog's daily intake — cut dinner back a little on heavy training days. Supervise your dog while it eats and keep fresh water available. Reseal the bag after use and store in a cool dry place.
