Farmers Mate 4 Pets Kangaroo Air Dried Bites are small air dried kangaroo pieces in a 100g resealable pack. Kangaroo is lean and, for most Australian dogs, a novel protein — one they have not been fed repeatedly — which is why it turns up so often in elimination diets.
That is also the reason to use it sparingly if you might need it later. Once a dog has eaten kangaroo regularly it stops being novel, and you lose a useful option for a future diet trial. If you are working through a food reaction with a vet, ask before you add any treat to the plan.
Feeding
Feed as a treat only. Keep treats under about ten percent of daily intake. Supervise your dog while it eats and keep fresh water available. Reseal the bag and store cool and dry.
