A small moulded shim that sits between the filter case and the aquarium rim so the AquaClear hangs square. It is worth a few dollars if your filter tilts, chatters against the trim or spills unevenly across the return lip. It cannot compensate for a bowed rim or a trim that is far thicker than the filter was designed for — it levels, it does not pack out large gaps.
