This is the complete replacement motor for a Fluval U Series internal filter — the sealed pump body the media housing clips onto. Buy it when the motor itself has failed: no start, a constant hum with no flow, or a unit that trips the RCD. It is the most expensive part of the filter, so check the cheap causes first — if a worn impeller assembly is what is rattling or killing the flow, that is a far cheaper repair and is very often the real fault.
Motors are model-specific and are not interchangeable between U sizes, so match the number on your filter body.
