Frontline Spray is a flea and tick treatment for dogs and cats, stocked at PeekAPaw in 100 mL and 250 mL. Because it is a spray rather than a fixed-dose applicator, one bottle can be used across a mixed household of dogs and cats. The spray is also the option for very young animals: it can be used on puppies and kittens from 2 days of age, which is far earlier than the spot-on products in the Frontline collection. Read the application intervals below before you buy, because they differ by parasite and by species, and note the rabbit warning in the safety section. How often to apply
Each parasite has its own interval, and the flea interval differs between dogs and cats.
- To protect against adult fleas, apply every 12 weeks for dogs and every 8 weeks for cats.
- To protect against paralysis ticks, apply every 3 weeks for dogs and cats.
- For protection against brown dog ticks, apply monthly.
Safety
- DO NOT USE ON RABBITS.
- Fipronil, one of the active ingredients in FRONTLINE SPRAY, causes fleas to become hyperactive and therefore more visible before dying.
