Replacement media for the Elite Mini filter. The combined foam and carbon cartridge is the simple option — one part, changed whole. The separate inserts let you run the two on different schedules, which is what most people end up doing: the foam is rinsed and reused for months, while the carbon is spent in about four weeks.

- Carbon Insert (2 Pack) — activated carbon for odour and discolouration.
Rinse foam in tank water, never under the tap — chlorinated water kills the bacterial colony the filter depends on, and that colony is most of the reason the foam is there.
Note that Hagen has used two part-number families for Mini filter media over the years. If your filter is the current Elite Mini Internal Filter, the Mini Internal Filter foam insert is the matching part.
