Calsorb Forte is the self-fed version of Jenquine's calcium formula, made as a lick block for paddock and spelling horses where daily hand-feeding is not practical. Jenquine's claim for it is that it does not fall apart or melt in rain, which is the usual failure of a paddock block. The trade-off with any lick is intake control — you cannot be certain how much each horse in a mob takes, so a horse that genuinely needs a measured dose is better on Bone Formula Forte.
Supplied as an 18kg block, suitable for feed bins, paddocks, yards and stables.
Formulated With
- Organic calcium — readily absorbable, supports bone strength.
- Inorganic calcium — helps neutralise soluble oxalates in the digestive tract.
- Iodine, selenium, copper and zinc — with salt for electrolyte balance.
Feeding Guide
Self-administered. Place where all horses can reach it and check intake over the first week.
