A beeswax dressing for smooth leather — saddlery, boots, belts, anything that has dried out and gone hard. It restores the natural oils and leaves the hide supple. Like all oil-and-wax dressings it will darken leather a shade or two, so it belongs on working tack rather than on pale show gear you want to keep light.
45g is a pocket tin for boots; 450g is the saddlery-room size.
Benefits
- Restores natural oils — brings dried, stiff leather back to a workable feel
- Beeswax base — preserves as well as softens
- Two sizes — a tin for the boot rack and a tub for the tack room
How to use
Clean the leather, apply a thin coat with a cloth, let it soak in and buff off the excess. Not for suede or nubuck.
