Freeze dried venison liver, grain free, in a 50g bag. Same idea as the lamb version, with venison as the protein — which is the reason to choose it. Most dogs have never eaten venison, so it stays useful as a treat for a dog on an elimination diet, or for one that reacts to the usual chicken, beef and lamb.
Liver is rich in vitamin A, and vitamin A is fat-soluble — it accumulates rather than being flushed out. That makes liver a treat to portion rather than pour: keep treats to roughly a tenth of daily intake and take the difference off meals. Dogs new to a rich organ treat can also get loose stools if they get a handful on day one.
Supplied in a 50g bag. Also available as Lamb Liver Bites. Browse the full K9 Natural range or all Dog Treats.
