The product Keratex built its name on. It penetrates the horn and cross-links the keratin, so the hoof is genuinely harder rather than coated — it still breathes, and it keeps working in wet paddocks where a surface dressing washes off. Used for weak, brittle, cracked or soft feet, thin soles, and horses that keep pulling shoes.
One important condition: it will not penetrate through oil or grease. If the foot has had a hoof oil or grease on it in the last three months, degrease with acetone first, and stop using oils while you are on the hardener.
250ml bottle with a hoof brush included.
