KONG Dog Toys Classic Red

Decades on, the KONG Classic is still the toy most vets and trainers name first, and the reason is the red natural rubber: firm enough for an average chewer to keep working at, hollow so it can be packed with kibble or a smear of peanut butter, and lopsided enough that it never bounces where the dog expects. Stuffed and frozen, it becomes a job that occupies a dog properly rather than a toy that gets abandoned. Size and materials

KONG's own weight bands run: Small for dogs up to about 9 kg, Medium about 7–16 kg, Large about 14–29 kg, X Large about 27–41 kg and XX Large for dogs of roughly 39 kg and up. The material is 100% natural rubber. KONG's advice for power chewers is to go up one or two sizes or to move to the KONG Extreme line in black rubber, because the red Classic formula is built for average chewers. Supervised use only, and replace the toy once it is damaged.
