Older teeth do not enjoy the same rubber a three-year-old does. KONG Senior uses a softer natural rubber formula made for dogs whose teeth and gums have already put in years of chewing, in the familiar hollow Classic shape, so it still stuffs and still bounces off in an unpredictable direction. KONG recommends it for light chewers, and there is no squeaker in it. Stocked in Medium for dogs of about 7–16 kg and Large for about 14–29 kg.

Size and materials
100% natural rubber. On KONG's weight bands the Medium covers dogs of roughly 7–16 kg and the Large roughly 14–29 kg. Because the Senior formula is softer than the red Classic rubber, it is not the right pick for a dog that still chews hard — the Classic or the black Extreme rubber suits that dog better. Supervise play and replace the toy when it is damaged.
