A conventional 1.5m lead in braided nylon rope with a padded handle — the everyday lead rather than anything clever. Rope holds its shape better than flat webbing and does not twist into a ribbon, which matters if your dog circles. Choose the Large if your dog leans into the lead; the heavier rope is kinder on your hand.

Care and safety
Rinse in warm water and air dry; do not machine wash the retractable mechanisms. Check webbing, stitching and the clip before each walk and retire anything frayed. No lead or collar is a substitute for supervision.
