A ring rather than a solid lump, the KONG Extreme Donut rolls off at angles a ball never manages, which is what makes it worth throwing for a dog that has stopped finding fetch interesting. The open middle also gives a dog somewhere obvious to get its teeth in and carry it. It is moulded in KONG's black Extreme rubber, the firmest compound they make — welcome news for a demolition chewer, hard going for a puppy, a senior or a soft-mouthed dog. Three sizes: Small/Medium about 8.9 cm across for dogs up to 16 kg, Medium/Large about 12.1 cm for 14–29 kg, and Large/X-Large about 15.2 cm for 27–41 kg.
